What a loss to our community living center at the VA. Alex was always friendly and joked with us as we passed by him in the hallway. I remember our last conversation out next to the building. I asked him how his day was going and he said “it is going great, and what a nice day outside it is”. May you rest in peace, and always know you will be thought of here by many staff and residents. I will miss seeing you heading outside with your coffee cup and smiles as we passed in the hallway.

My sincere condolences to the family Mark La Fountaine – It was not the Creator’s purpose for mankind to suffer (Romans 5:12). May the Creator give you peace through his promise to comfort us (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). Cherish all your happy memories and I hope that you are consoled by Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3).

As a little brother, I have many fond memories of mark. One memory comes to mind. We were walking to school, I was in fourth grade and Mark was in fifth. I had never heard a rock and roll song before when all a sudden Mark goes dun dun dunt splash splash I was taking a bath, long about a saturday night. I was working when I got the news Mark might not make through the night. I headed out, driving all through the night in hope that I could see and talk to him one last time. I was about 20 miles from miles city, when l got a call saying Mark had passed. My heart was so broke, I pulled over and lost control of my emotions. Mark I hope you are in heaven, and if you are please say hello to Jimmy, Ronnie, Linda, and Carol and I will joining you when God gives me the call. Love Alex
