Jerry and Joyce Strobel says
“Let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice! Look to the LORD and His strength; Seek His face always. ” Psalm 105: 3,4 What awesome scripture that so describes your Mom, your Grandma, our sister in JESUS. Bertha and I never wrote a letter or talked on the phone without rejoicing in the mightiness of our SAVIOR. And as she would bring her precious husband to Coalwood church we would marvel over her strength as she cared for him. And the blessings we got as we visited with Bertha after her unreal car accident. What a lady—-loved to shine for JESUS! We pray for you as you miss her and rejoice with you as you celebrate her. Blessings to each of you, Jerry and Joyce Strobel

Marie, I’m so sorry for your loss. It isn’t easy to lose our parents, no matter what their age. I remember as a teen, visiting your house with the youth group from the Broadus church. We sure enjoyed ice skating and eating the goodies that your mom prepared. She was a lovely and hospitable Christian woman. My sympathies to you and your siblings.

Spent the day with Mom yesterday and she lamented that she was not able to come to Bertha’s funeral. She would have been there if her health was such that she could have come. I know they were good friends.
Have many fun memories myself of visits to your folks house….listening to stories on records, playing board games and more. I will be praying for comfort as you mourn her loss, but can hear her laughing and know she is with the Lord.
