BETTY J. CHRISTIANSON AGE 75, OF MILES CITY DIED SATURDAY MARCH 23, 2013 AT HER HOME WITH HER FAMILY AT HER SIDE.
BETTY WAS BORN September 6, 1937 AT CADILLAC S.D. THE DAUGHTER OF OLIVER AND FLORENCE (TILLEY) SIEDSCHLAW. SHE ATTENDED GRADE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL IN BOWMAN NORTH DAKOTA. FOLLOWING SCHOOL BETTY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MAX CHRISTIANSON ON JUNE 7, 1955 AT MILES CITY MT.
FOLLOWING THEIR MARRIAGE MAX WORKED FOR SUN OIL CO. AS A SEISMOGRAPHER LIVING THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES UNTIL MOVING TO MILES CITY WHERE THEY MAD THEIR HOME SINCE.
BETTY LOVED TO GO FISHING WITH MAX AND BEING AT HER HOME AND BEING A MOTHER.
SURVIVING HER HUSBAND MAX OF 57 YEARS OF MILES CITY, ONE SON RICHARD CHRISTIANSON OF FORSYTH,THREE SISTERS ROBERTA ENGESSER OF SPEARFISH SOUTH DAKOTA ,SHIRLEY WINCZWESKI OF DICKINSON NORTH DAKOTA AND DONNA HEMMING OF PENNSLVANIA. THREE GRANDCHILDREN RYAN, TYSON AND CHELSY.
SHE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER SON RONALD CHRISTIANSON IN 2005, TWO BROTHERS OTTO AND ALAN.

To The Family and Friends of Betty Christianson – Please accept my condolences. My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow. I hope that you are able to draw comfort from the Bible during this difficult time. It was not God’s original purpose that mankind suffer and die. At creation God was able to say that everything was “very good” (Gen 1:31). Jesus’ sacrifice of his human life on earth again gave us the opportunity of having a righteous standing before God. One of many blessings the Bible mentions is at Palms 37:29 where we are told that many righteous ones will reside on the earth with the hope of everlasting life in Paradise conditions with no wicked around to take away peace. We are promised that soon death will be no more (Revelation 21:4).
