Bonny Rose Dietz, age 88 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children and family on Friday Aug. 25th 2017 in San Clemente, CA.
Bonny was born on Nov. 7th, 1928 in Glendive, MT to Ralph and Doris (Matchett) Kalloch. She joined two older brothers, Warren Kalloch and Ed Kalloch and later became a big sister to Mike Kalloch.
When Bonny was 5 yrs. old her Mother sadly passed away, but soon her father married Beatrice Kolstad who became a wonderful Mother to her. There was soon to be 3 more incredible siblings, Marian (Chounard), Karen (Logan) and Gail (Miller). The family of 9 moved to Terry, MT where her Father worked for BLM. As a teen, Bonny fell in love with the handsome Walter Dietz and in 1948 they were married. Three years later their little son Mike Dietz was born, and in 1952 they were blessed with a second miracle baby, daughter Penny (Pearce). In 1958 her little family moved to CA. Between 1980-83 Bonny was so excited to become a Grandmother twice. Penny had sons, Edward Bill and Jefferey Bill. They brought such joy to her.
Later in her retirement years, Bud and her were Snowbirds. They traveled between Broadus MT where Penny, Don and three more wonderful grandchildren, Ray Pearce, Heather Pearce and Jon Pearce lived, and her home in Earp CA. She loved her family and friends in both places so. She was extremely active and enjoyed going to Diamond Back ball games, attending friends “Coffees”, playing card games and listening to classical music. The last years of her life she remained in CA and as her health declined, she moved to San Clemente to be close to Mike, Nicola and the youngest of her adoring grand children, twins Nicholas and Sophia Dietz. Bonny will be missed terribly and will live in the hearts of all that were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Bonny is survived by her son and daughter: Mike (Nicola) Dietz and Penny (Don) Pearce. 7 Grandchildren: Ed (Gloria) Bill, Jeff (Erin) Bill, Ray (Sharlynn) Pearce, Heather (Jay) Brownfield, Jon Pearce, Nicholas Dietz and Sophia Dietz. 7 Great-grandchildren. 3 sisters: Marian “Scoose” Chouinard, Karen (Tom) Logan and Gail (Dick) Miller.

Time changes many things
And some dreams will come apart
But nothing can reach or change
