Bonnie J. Grebe McCaffree, age 86, formerly of Custer, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Rosebud Health Care Center in Forsyth with her family by her side.
She was born April 9, 1928 in Melstone, Montana, the daughter of Ed and Caroline Grebe.
She graduated from Sumatra High School and married the love of her life Clyde (Bus) McCaffree on August 15, 1947 in Roundup, Montana. From this union six children were born: Ed, Roger, Rockie, Kitty, James, and Annett.
She loved camping, hunting agates, ranching, making patch work quilts and watching her Children and then Grandchildren playing sports.
She is survived by her children Ed (Sandy) McCaffree of Billings, Roger McCafree of Forsyth, Rockie (Dena) McCaffree of Reedpoint, Kitty McCaffree of Helena, Annett (Scott) Ruff of Custer, fifteen Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in her death by her husband, Clyde; her parents, Ed and Caroline Grebe, and infant son James.
Graveside services will be at the Musselshell County Cemetery in Musselshell at 11:00 am on August 30, 2014 with burial to follow. A luncheon will follow at the Musselshell School. Memorials may be made to the Musselshell Community School Foundation, Musselshell, MT or Rosebud Foundation Post Office Box 500, Forsyth, MT 59327.
