Budd Weamer age 80 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 30, 2015. He went peacefully with his wife, Karen holding his hand. Budd was born on May 20, 1934 in Big Timber, Montana to Ed and Marie Weamer. His big brother was Don Weamer. Budd’s family moved to Forsyth when Budd was 9 and he then went to schools in Forsyth and graduated in 1954. Budd had many good memories of his friends growing up in Forsyth. He went to Elgin watch school and helped his parents in their jewelry store in Forsyth for a short time. He served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1958 and then attended college in Ogden, Utah studying electronics. He worked for Range telephone for 30 years installing and repairing telephones retiring after 30 years in 1994. He enjoyed his fellow workers at Range and the customers he knew.
He married his sweetheart and best friend Karen Kaiser in 1973 and they spent many good times taking trips, camping, working on projects and they just enjoyed spending time together. Budd liked remodeling their house, fixing clocks for people, restoring antique cars, hunting, fishing, motorcycling and many other hobbies. Budd liked to invent things and figure out how to make things work better, he was a very talented & resourceful man. He was gentle, kind and loving. Even though his illness took so many of his abilities away the Good Lord blessed him with an even better sense of humor and Budd & Karen spent many good times laughing and teasing each other.
His family & friends were important to him. Budd was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church and took great comfort in his Lord.
He is survived by his wife Karen of Forsyth, his sister-in-law Cheryl Weamer of Georgia, brother-in-law Ron Kaiser of Billings, nieces Kim Morton of Washington, Karie Weamer (Greg) of Georgia, Karla (Jack) Mahan of Billings, nephew Rick Weamer of Washington, nephew Russ (Michelle) Kaiser of Bozeman, niece Heidi Johnson of Billings and grandnieces & nephews Zane, Andrea, Ashley, Andy, Leah, Rachael, Matthew, & Jessica. Budd was preceded in death by his parents Ed & Marie Weamer, his brother Don Weamer, mother-in-law & father-in-law Harry & Natalie Kaiser, sister-in-law Judy Kaiser and grandniece Kristy Lucas.

Rob Stephens says
I just wanted to add a few comments about Bud from myself and Range Telephone. I knew him for about 8 years and I thought he was just a great guy. I never met anyone who didn’t like Bud. He worked 30 years for Range and helped us through a lot of positive changes. His work ethic was a good one for the younger employees to follow. I am sorry I can’t make the funeral and pay my respects in person, but I will be in Billings. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Anybody that had a chance to meet Bud–well– they were the lucky ones as he had a great sense of humor, a great little laugh and a great heart. He was special! God Bless him!
