Carl,
I have missed our visits since you moved to Glendive. The joke we shared and laughed about will be a memory and a story I share for ever when I think of you. The news of you passing was a shock, I always hoped you would move back to Miles City and I would get to laugh and joke with you again. I know you are pain free now and whole in the next life. You will be remembered by many and I will always have a smile when I think about our visits. Rest In peace Soldier,
Jim

Carl was always such a bright soul to talk to, he was funny. I also loved how much he loved my little dog after he met her while I was waiting for my husband one day. He would always call me just to check up and see how I was doing. It’s memories I will cherish

Carl, man this hits home. You always seemed to know when i showed up in the Coke truck to fill the pop machine and would meet me there. Of course I had no problem giving you a few Coca-Cola’s. I always enjoyed going outside with you and having a smoke and just having a great conversation. You will truly be missed my friend and brother. Rest in Peace Carl

Carl, I have been missing you for several months already. I mean let’s face it, you are the man of men and always the ladies sweetheart and it only took me 4 visits to your room to say goodbye when you were moving to Glendive! That was the first time you finally had your shirt off in front of me. Just knowing what a gentleman you are, I couldn’t resist whistling loud down the hall and telling you “hey sexy” as I rounded the corner and left my cart and all behind me , just to see you smile and laugh. One more time. It broke my heart to hear of your passing. Carl, I will see you I’m the next life, you old soul.
Jackie Sprankle says
Carl was a good friend to all at the Eastern Montana Veterans Home in Glendive Mt. Our photo shows him helping the Tuesday candy girls get ready to deliver Easter baskets to all the residents. We hope your pockets remain full of 3Musketeers bars. Fondly, Linda, Rita & Jackie

I’m his grandson and I would really like info. I never got to fully connect with him. Due to him and my dad not seeing eye to eye.
But if anyone can contact me it would be much appreciated.
