Carol Niemi passed away and joined her Heavenly Father on August 14, 2018, at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana. Carol was the 5th child born to Dorothy (Otterness) and Ernest Goff on March 13, 1948, in Eureka, South Dakota. She attended grade school in Ada, Minnesota and junior high and high school in Miles City, Montana.
Carol later met the love of her life, Kenneth Niemi. They were united in marriage on August 20, 1992. Together they found the Lord! She loved her yard and spent a lot of time with her flowers, even earning the title “Yard of the Week.”
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Dave Dobie, her husband, Kenneth Niemi, her brothers, Donald Goff, Floyd Goff, Jimmy Goff, Robert Goff, and her sisters-in-law, Janice, Mary, and Tana. She is survived by her daughter, Dottie (Dobie) Marion of Helena, Montana, her brother Jerry Goff of Miles City, her sister Judy (Goff) Brush, her brother-in-law Melvin “Shorty” Brush of Miles City, a very close friend, Jane Nitek of Wisconsin, eight nephews, Don Goff, Randy Goff, Ernie Goff, Steve Goff, Greg Bush all of Miles City, and Jerry Goff Jr., Jeff Goff, Rick Goff of Billings, Montana, her five nieces, Penny, Cindy, Tammy, Betsey, and Talea, her five grandchildren, Shane, Heather, Brittany of Helena, Montana, Breann of Billings, Montana, Kimberlyn of Claifornia and thirteen great grandchildren.

You would not find a kinder, sweeter neighbor than Carol. I sincerely enjoyed our laughs together and our rides around town. I will always remember Carol hiking across the street with her black trash bag and rake to help me in the yard. Carol, I know you and Ken are so happy to be together again. Rest in peace my friend.

I used to love the summers going to see Grandma Carol, Ken and the rest of the family. They treated me like blood family. Carol was so funny. Always made us kids laugh. I’m going to miss her a lot. Wish I could’ve seen her more but she knew I loved her! Fly high Grandma. Til we meet again.
