Charles Dann Snider, age 53, passed away on June 9, 2013. He was born on April 28, 1960, the first child of Donald C. Snider and Ethel (Leischner) Snider in Billings, Montana. Charlie graduated from Colstrip High School in 1978. Soon after, he moved to Green River, Wyoming working on the construction of a power plant. There he met and married Kathleen Ford in 1986. They returned to Colstrip, where Charlie worked at Western Energy. Charlie and Kathy had one son, Andrew in 1989. More recently, Charlie worked for Teton Company at various sites across the western US and finally settled in Billings.
Charlie spent his childhood roaming the family ranch in the Castle Rock community near Colstrip. Many hours were spent with his brother, Mike, catching salamanders and turtles, riding Shorty, the Shetland pony, and climbing the Rock. As he got older, he was a great help to his parents doing cow work and farm work. Once Charlie earned his driver’s license, he became a proficient truck driver hauling grain at wheat harvest for his dad and Uncle Jim. Through the years, Charlie enjoyed roping at the Colstrip Roping Club. Charlie will be greatly missed by his family, cousins and special friends in the Castle Rock community.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael D. Snider.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Snider of Colstrip.

Dear Family and Friends of Charles Dann Snider – the loss of every human life is significant and should be valued by all. It is obvious according to the information listed above about Mr. Snider that he was loved and his life touched many people. His life was also valued by the Creator who recorded in the Bible book of Hebrews that God does not forget all of the love and fine works shown by his servants (Heb. 6:10). It was not God’s purpose that mankind suffer and die. At creation God was able to say that everything was “very good” (Gen 1:31) Death was introduced through Adam’s disobedience (Genesis 2:17). Jesus’ sacrifice of his human life on earth again gave us hope of everlasting life and we are promised that soon pain and death will be no longer occur (Revelation 21:4). Hopefully, faith in these Bible promises will ease the pain from this loss as you look forward to seeing Mr. Snider again under perfect Paradise conditions as promised in the Bible. (John 17:3)
