Daryl was born in Glendive, Montana on October 18, 1957 to Vernon and Cloey Scheer.
He grew up and attended school in Circle, Montana, graduating in 1976. While attending high school he worked summers and part time for Eissinger Equipment. After graduation he went to work for McFarland Chevrolet. In 1992 McFarland sold out and the employees formed a partnership renaming the business Community Auto Repair.
In 1980 Daryl married Nora Schriver. To this union two daughters were born: Jessica on September 9, 1985 and Kazia on June 17, 1989.
Daryl was a life-time member of the N.R.A., the Circle Rifle Club and the Circle Timing Association. He was also a member of the First Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed.
Daryl enjoyed cooking, hunting and taking his buggy (ATV) for rides and trips to the mountains. He was an avid racing fan and enjoyed several trips with Nora to Las Vegas and a trip to North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother Marlin, his father Vernon, sister-in-law Kim and a brother Ordean. He is survived by wife Nora, daughter Jessica (Ryan), grandsons Elliot and Aiden, of Brockway, his daughter Kazia, mother Cloey all of Circle, siblings DeWayne (June) Scheer of Burnsville, MN, Leanne (Art) McCurdy of Salem, OR, Alan (Nancy) Scheer of Wolf Point, MT as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law and some very special friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday February 14, 2012 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Circle.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 10:00am at First Lutheran Church in Circle with private family burial at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Circle Rifle Club or the charity of your choice.
Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Circle has been entrusted with arrangments.
