    Duane was my supervisor when I started working at the highway department. Poppa Stroh was always fair and sometimes firm when I needed it. He was a good guy and a good boss. My condolences to the family

    I am sorry to see Duane passed away. I have always enjoyed visiting with him when I got to see him around town.     Virginia- thoughts and prayers- the time working under Project Manger Duane Strohmayer best assignment I had while working for the. Montana Department of Highways. He was one the best PM Montana had working for them and the Montana people .

    I remember attending Duane & Virginia’s wedding and I felt so grownup & happy. They were very special to our family as we grew up. Duane took the time and showed me how to water ski. What a trip!! I have missed our little “stop in for a visit”since I had the wreck, and dog sitting once in a while. They were special people💙❤️. My sincere sympathy to all🥺

    Thoughts and prayers are with the Strohmayer family. We were so happy to get to celebrate Duane and VIrginias 67the anniversary a couple weeks ago and we also celebrated his 88th birthday with them and the boys. It was a special gathering. We are sure going to miss having you around Duane. We have had so much fun getting together in Montana, Arizona and South Dakota for so many years. You are now in our prayers and may you rest in peace. God Bless!

    Duane was always such a happy guy. If we met him in the Walmart parking while he was waiting for Virginia it extended our time by at least half an hour. Lots of laughs. Rick, Rod, Rusty, Virginia and families keep him in your heart forever. Memories do help but he is leaving a big hole. Love and prayers for all of you.

    God Bless Duane and Family! I loved when Vi and Duane would come and visit in Golva, ND. They even came for my high school graduation. Kind and fun loving cousins. U loved Duane’s laugh and stories. I’m so glad we had the same grandma to love. Enjoy the memories together as a family! ✝️♥️

    So sorry to hear about Duane. I remember when we first moved into town from the ranch for school, we lived across the street at 1410 North Custer. Duane and Nick Krumenacker were the first kids we met. that was in 1955. they were good neighbors. REST IN PEACE DUANE!!!
