Eli Henry Wolfname Ma’eno(Turtle) was born on June 2, 1956 to Martha Yellowrobe Wolfname & Wilbur Paul Wolfname, Sr. He began his journey to Seane on November 27, 2022. He was a 4th generation descendent of Chief Dull Knife.
Hank was raised in Busby at the White Corrals. He graduated from Busby High School in 1975. In 2018, Hank was an honorarium at Chief Dull Knife College. He loved horses, drawing, jogging and weightlifting. He was a bull rider and participated in the “tough man” contest in Billings and was known as “Hammerin Hank”. Hank was a proud boilermaker and was employed in the shipping yards in Seattle. Hank and Maryann Calf Looking raised their family in Seattle and later returned home to the White Corrals. He believed in our Cheyenne ways. He fasted at Charlie White Dirts place & at Bear Butte. His children & grandchildren meant the world to him.
Surviving him are his children Mike Wilson (Pam), Nicole Wolfname (Gearld), Starla Wolfname (Timpsila), Forrest Wolfname(Ashley) and Skyler Brey (Lucero), grandchildren, Anthony (Arianna), Ashley, Samantha, Mike Jr., Mark Eli, Joclynn, Kallen, Tyler, Leo, Elias, Willis Littlebear, Great Grandchildren, Andrea, Gianna, Maleialani, Meuylyn, Aunt Bernice Mast, Sisters; Lenora Wolfname, Linda Brady, Carla Larose, Dr. Cokey Yellowrobe, Rolette Coleman (Doney), Beverly Bailey, Kristi Bailey, Johanna Red Neck, Brothers; Rick (Janet)Wolfname, Rutherford Evans, RD Bailey (Alanah), Keith Bailey, Uncle had a special relationship with all his nieces & nephews, especially Carmen Wolfname & Steve Brady, Jr.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Maryann Calf Looking, son, Eli Wolfname, Jr., Uncles; Robert Bailey, Otis Bailey, Brothers, Daniel Wolfname, Wilbur Wolfname, Jr., Lloyd Yellowrobe, Anthony Wolfname, Sr., Gary Wolfname, Elwood Evans, Waldo Yellowrobe, Jr., Duane “D” Evans, Charles “Chuck” Evans, Nephews, Larry Big Back, Jr., Chase M. Yellowrobe, Anthony Wolfname, Jr., Shawn Wolfname, Wamblee Spotted Elk, Nieces, Teshia Big Back, Jewel B. Yellow Robe, Grandson Jakob Yellowrobe.
