Jon,
Words aren’t enough right now. She fought so hard and loved you very much. I greatly admire the strength and devotion you showed in caring for her. Now she is able to rest until the scripture found at John 5:28&29 is fulfilled. Where we will be able to welcome her back completely restored to the vibrant beautiful woman we loved free of pain and disease. Let the wonderful memories you shared carry you for now. And to the rest of Erin’s family my sympathies. I only knew Erin for a few months but was totally amazed by her grace and trust in a complete stranger as she faced her challenges head on. I will continue to learn from the many lessons she taught me and am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to know and care for her.

Erin is one of the most amazing people I ever met . Her time with us was short but she touched everyone of us that had the pleasure to meet her and take care of her we all just loved her . I send healing prayers to all of you . She is now free of pain and I’m sure she is dancing in Heaven , and is the most beautiful Angle.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29. There Jesus promised a resurrection of our loved ones, saying that the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. These resurrected ones will inherit the earth, as Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 5. Then, under the rule of God’s Kingdom, they will enjoy life the way God originally intended, in perfect health with no sorrow, pain or death. (Psalms 37:29. Isaiah 33:24. Revelation 21:4). What a wonderful time that will be! If you would like to learn more about this hope, please visit jw.org. Please accept my condolences.

Erin was one of the nicest people I ever met, she was truly a flower in a world of thorns. She was always interested in everything and was always curious for learning new things. She loved music and had a voice that was so sweet, strumming her 4-string guitar and singing old western songs was something that was so nice to listen too. She embraced the Montana spirit of individualism and was unique in so many ways. She had a gift for making people feel welcome in her presence and I always looked forward to seeing her beautiful smile. I met Erin while working in North Dakota and we were both transplants working in the wild west, her friendliness and warm attitude was a welcome change from the cold prairie. We lost a good soul and the world is a bit lonelier now; I find comfort in knowing she is free of pain and with her maker. Erin is someone I will never forget. I want her family to know they raised a wonderful woman that was so kind and beautiful, her presence on this earth made everyone better.

I was saddened to hear about Erin’s passing. I spent a week with Erin in western China years ago; she was a vibrant and engaging person and the world is smaller without her. I remember (and have a fun photo) of her playing her banjo in a public square in Urumqi surrounded by curious Chinese onlookers. I ran into her a few years later at a conference and she was vibrant and welcoming as before.
