Esther Robinson Helm passed away at Holy Rosary Hospital on October 13, 2014 with family by her side.
Esther was born on September 29, 1919 in Fleak, North Dakota to John Geist and Anna Zimmerman. She attended grade school in Regent, North Dakota and graduated high school in Stockton, California. Esther attended college at Delta College and got her AA degree (Associates of Arts) in Early Childhood Education. She also was a licensed Vocational Nurse as well as a Cosmetologist.
She married Glen Robinson in Kingman Arizona on November 11, 1939 and was married for over 40 years, they later divorced. She then married Godfrey Helm in 1993 in Miles City, Montana.
Godfrey and Esther loved to travel a lot and enjoyed their time together. They played cards, enjoyed gardening and really loved family dinners, especially during the holidays.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Glen Robinson of Stockton, California, her husband Godfrey Helm of Miles City, four brothers and four sisters, step daughter Gladys Gagnon, four nephews and one niece. She is survived by her step children Phyllis Arthur of Winnett, MT, Jim Helm of Cohagen, MT, nieces Viola Molstad and Laura Erickson, sister-in-law Bernice Cottom, eleven step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Custer County Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.stevesonandsons.com.
