Linda Kay Olser, age 62, of Miles City passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Billings Clinic after a short battle with cancer.
Linda Kay Clark was born on July 2, 1952 in Bethany, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Oteka (Ward) Clark. Linda attended school at Greybull Elementary School in Greybull, WY and graduated from Northwest Senior High School in 1970 in Grand Island, NE. Shortly after high school she married Daniel McCray on June 26, 1971 in Wolbach, NE and to this union they had one child, Dale Allen. Linda and Daniel later divorced and she eventually married Kenneth Osler on March 27, 1975 in Rockport, MO. Linda moved to Bellevue, NE where she worked for the Boy Scouts of America for ten years.
Linda eventually returned to school where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. Linda furthered her education by earning her Master’s degree in business. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in June of 1977. In 1994, Linda moved to Miles City where she became a full time minister (pioneer) in December, 1995, something she truly loved doing. Linda enjoyed being part of the Miles City community. She met many people and touched many lives in her work and personal life. She loved traveling to International Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses and almost traveled completely around the world. Besides traveling, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Linda is survived by her mother Oteka: brothers and sister: Randy Clark of Billings; Debora Hunking of Miles City and Rob (Theresa) Clark of Billings; nieces and nephews: James Clark of Florida; Charity (Mike) Gizinski of Grand Island, NE; Sheena Buettner of Aurora, CO; Wayne (Kourtney) Hunking of Miles City, MT; Cathy (Kelly) Hedge of Bowman, ND; Sara Hunking of Thornton, CO; Sandra Hunking of Miles City, MT; Cody (Raylina Woodward) Clark of Billings, MT; and Jayme (Curt Kapptie) Clark of Billings, MT; and numerous great nieces and nephews. To all the Osler family, my heart is sadden with the loss of Linda, she was a hard working co worker and one of the best friends one could ever ask for. She also had a heart as big as all the outdoors. Be at peace my friend until we see each other again. Hold tight to the wonderful memories that all of us have with Linda.
