Dear family of Miss Mogle,
She was my teacher in elementary school and my favorite teacher from those early years. She encouraged the class to write our own play, produce and act in it. Such freedom for fifth graders! I am sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful person.
Mike Wallick says
Such a wonderful teacher. She has left so many wonderful memories. My sister and I still discuss things we remember sharing in her classes so many years ago.
Toni Campbell Tivy says
I was a student of hers in 5th Grade and she made a lifelong impression on me. For one thing she loved music and brought it into the classroom. For another thing, she made a special effort to make every child feel valued and loved. She gave special attention and care to the kids who were sort of different or the “underdogs” in some way. I am sure she affected the lives of thousands of children and I hope she knew that we realized and appreciated how much she cared about all of us and how great of a teacher she was at a pivotal time in our lives (it seems like big changes start happening in 5th Grade that affect us through High School). .
