Hotohkóhma’aese’s sunrise was September 1, 1964, in Crow Agency, MT, to Margaret Yellow Fox Rising Sun and the late Irvin Rising Sun Sr., and his last sunset was February 23, 2017, in Lame Deer, MT.

Hotohkóhma’aese enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing basketball, and watching the Super Bowl Champions Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed working on cars and doing handy work. He loved being around his family and friends, especially his grandkids and all his nieces and nephews. Lucian had a great sense of humor, always teasing and laughing with everyone. He was always in good spirits when you were around him and always made you feel welcomed. His way of life was very down to earth and he always remained very humble. Lucian had a very big heart, never took anything for granted and lived his life in a way he liked. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends and we will continue to cherish the moments shared with him. The heavens have gained yet another beautiful soul.
