Lucio Louie Quiroz, age 59, of Rabbit Town passed away on November 28, 2023 at his home. Louie was born on November 30, 1963 In Crow Agency to Trinidad Quiroz and Lois Magpie. He grew up in Ashland with his 4 siblings: Cliffos, Trinidad Jr., Marlene Quiroz and LaVonne Quiroz, Marlene “MC” Flying Horse. He attended St. Labre Indian Catholic school until eventually started working. He worked at the sawmill in Ashland and many places like logging, healthcare, and steel reclining in Hardin. He enjoyed hanging out with his close family and friends and taking long cruises.
He was always joking around and laughing. He enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset. He loved dogs and had two of his own he cared for. He always took care of others better than he took care of himself. He always said “If I could do it all over again… I wouldn’t change a damn thing.”
He is survived by his brothers, Cliffos, Trinidad, and Merlin I; adopted brothers, Troy Wilson and Bobby Yellow Fox II; sisters, Marlene Q. Lavonne W, Marlene Flying Horse, Marie, Helen, Anna, and Georgia Wilson, Trisa Wilson; children: Monica, Kyle, Quincy Bearcomesout, Regina Quiroz, Arleda, and Lil Louie Quiroz; adopted children, Monica Bearcomesout, Armondo Rosas; nephews, Andre Quiroz, Eric Little Calf, Jessie Wilson, Snidley Wilson; Nieces, Claudette Littlecalf, Ricki Heart; grandchildren, Dionna Gray, Gabriel and Loyal White Hawk, Uriah Little Mouth, Joseph Brock Little Mouth, Melissa Adams, Jaden Quiroz, and Cyntori, Leon, and Anissa Vallie. Sorry if we forgot to mention you in our time of grief, our family is very large.
