MorningStar John “MJ” Killsnight

“Vootkoots of lame deer left This world suddenly and unexpectedly in a car accident along side with his big sister Naomi kills Nate whom he loved and cared for dearly MJ was a blessing born to Marvin kills Nate Senior and Larita pain kills night on September 29, 1992 MJ had a unique sense of humor he possess the ability to make you smile when you wanted to cry or to make you laugh until you cry boy yutt MJ grew up in Lame deer on the west side part of town. He attended Lame deer public school and was born the same year when The morning star high school was built. He was a dedicated morning stars fan. #Stars for life!

MJ enjoyed playing football but his passion for basketball was undeniable. He loves to play the game. He also received several awards during his high school career. he also got a kick out of having a chance to wrestle in his younger years and participated in the seac tournaments MJ’s hobbies include fishing camping and horseback riding. He would often participate in the ride along with the Sue and Arapahoe in honor of the little bighorn battle. He was proud to be Northern Cheyenne and he loved and respected his heritage and traditional ways. and chilling out with Family and his bros every chance he got. MJ will be deeply missed.

MJ is survived by his parents Marvin Killsnight sr. And Laretha pine. Grandma Francis Swallow. Brothers Emmanuel Pine, and Marvin “baby J” killsnight jr. Eric(tish)Killsnight jr, Delane(Jodi)Killsnight, Andrew(Vanna) Quiroz, Dennis Killsnight, Durran(Whitney)Yellowhair, Darren”DJ”, Devin Yellowhair, Lupe Cano, Kiemo Lopez and Devon(Victoria)Redcloud, sisters- LaShawna(Ian Brush)Killsnight, Cheyenne(Corey)Killsnight, and Marlee Killsnight) Chelsey(Isaac) Martinez. Maria Killsnight, Crystal Able, Heather( Uncles Eric Killsnight Sr, Lucas Killsnight, Reginald Killsnight sr, Matune Killsnight, Louis Killsnight, Leroy Whiteman, Edwin Whiteman Sr, Mervin Pine, Paul Threefingers jr, Philbert Killsnight, Edward”Geewhiz” MedicineTop.

    Brother!! My hearts so broke. I just sit here, like i always do when i come home..in ya basement and half the tables gone. Your smile… the way you were such a good brother uncle son cousin … the way you could smile and forgive and still call people who hurt you friend, is the true Cheyenne way.
