Michele Tillotson, age 54, of Forsyth, MT passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
Michele was born on April 12, 1968 at Warner Robbins AFB, Georgia and spent her childhood in Riverside, California.
Michele lived for others and had an infectious laugh that brought joy to all those lucky enough to be close to her. She had a passion for helping children and was most proud of the work she did with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Montana. As program director, she directly impacted the lives of families across the state and was a relentless protector of children.
Michele found her partner in life and soulmate in husband, Eric. She loved traveling and exploring together, taking adventures on their motorcycles, and just spending time with each other.
Family meant the world of Michele and she enjoyed connecting with her children, Dakota and Robyn, and being “Gigi” to her grandchildren, Jr. and Addy. Her extended family included friends she held close to her heart and brought into her circle.
Michele believed in kindness and second chances, but also believed in taking no shit. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend with a light and generous soul that will be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Tillotson; children, Robyn and Dakota Tillotson’ grandchildren, Jr. and Adaalyn; father, Rick Washburn; niece, JJ along with many in-laws, out-laws, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Anliker Washburn.
Family and friends are invited to join a Celebration of Life from 4-7 PM at the Haugo Center located at 91 Rosebud Street in Forsyth, Montana on April 30, 2022.

Such a sweet person who God gave the chance to impact so many lives. Her smile warmed the room. As a Casa, she will be greatly missed. Her co-workers are deeply saddened but God has said, “Well done Michelle! Your work on earth is done!” I am sorry I will not be able to attend Her celebration of Life and what a life it was, as I will be in Kansas. Rest now my CASA friend! GOD BLESS YOU!

I will carry her memory in my heart forever. God sent an Eagle to bring her home and I will hear her laughter and sweet voice every time a gentle wind blows. She had a Lakota name it was Thunder Heart a name that meant strong and caring. So my Dear sweet Thunder Heart I love and miss you Someday I will meet you at the stronghold.

Michele was our CASA too! The first time our traumatized little guy set eyes on Miss Michele, he loved her. She worked tirelessly to help him, to investigate, to get action, to truly help him. A kinder, more caring, woman there could not have been than our dear Miss Michele.
