Dear Reece, We are all soo sorry for your loss of Mildred. You two were very good for each other! I remember many late night auctions watching you two bid on the last few treasure boxes. She always made my family and I feel welcome when we wanted to see Grandpa Reece, or drop off some peaches or visit with great grand kids. Hopefully her kids know how proud she was of them!! She told us stories of each of them every time we visited !! Our prayers are for peace for you and Mildred and her children. Know she is still there watching over all of you !! Love Roban and Family

It seems everytime my Aunt Selma would come to Miles City, she would take me to the 4B’s to see Mrs Cooksey. Selma thought a lot of Mrs. Cooksey and she valued her friendship. Even though I was just a kid, I remember how nice Mrs Cooksey was to me, she always knew me, and she took time to visit with me. She had a way of making everyone feel special and like they mattered. There are many people who come and go in our lives. Some we forget and others we wish we could forget, but I will never forget how special Mrs. Cooksey was to my Aunt Selma and to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

My condolences to Mildred’s family. We came to Miles City in 1959 and, over the next several years, hired them several times to do concrete work for us. They were a hard working family and always did good work. She will be missed.
