I read the obituary notice in the paper this morning and mourned the passage of another of the pillars of my youth. I remember Nels during many trips to 4H Congress back in the day when the Bus would start in Plentywood and pick up kids all along the way including Froid, Culbertson, Poplar, Wolf Point, Vida, Circle, etc. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I worked many years in the USDA building with Nels. Besides his commitment to our young people. He was instrumental in the county attack on noxious weeds, to this day Mc Cone is carrying on his, ” gotta get weed crews out” mentality. Lately he was part of the True Value coffee crew, and he will be truly missed, for his wisdom and patriotic input!!!!
Dorothy Reil says
My sincerest sympathy to you all!

Mrs. Boe and family,
I am so sorry to read of your loss. I will never forget when Nels would have the cherries for sale! I would eat cherries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for weeks! I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. May you feel the comforting arms of God in this difficult time.
