I met Jean about 23 years ago and we played pinochle every week. When I first met her, she was always going back to South Dakota to take care of her family because they were sick or dying. She was such a wonderful person. She would say she was going for a week or two and she come back a year or two later she had the heart of gold. As I remember, she took care of all of her siblings when they were dying. God bless her soul she will be missed by many.๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐๐

Jean was the most kind, giving human. I loved playing pinochle with her! It was such a pleasure to always see her at Saturday evening Mass and her dedication to keeping the devotion candles filled. I called her “an angel on earth” at one time for making that sacrifice. She came up to me afterwards and said, “No one has ever called me an angel before”, and gave me a big hug. Prayers and sympathy to her family.

Stephanie and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. I will miss her sweet smile and cherish her friendship always. She was the greatest friend to so many people on this earth including all her family members. God has gained an amazing, beautiful Lady. Always remember “When A Loved One Becomes A Memory That Memory Becomes A Treasure”. She will always be a Treasure in your hearts and never forgotten. Treasure your memories as they will help thru difficult days and times ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

My sincere condolences to Jeanโs family & friends! She was a great friend to my parents, late Harold & Ilene Meidinger of Terry, MT. Their circle of friends enjoyed dining and dancing at the Miles City Moose Club and other MC establishments. This sweet gal and her friends helped make and serve at my wedding reception at the Moose Club in December, 1980. She and Al always had the Welcome mat at their door for any of us at any time! Jean was a dear friend indeed! Godโs blessings with love and comfortโฆ โค๏ธ๐๐ปโค๏ธ

Oh, What a dear sweet lady! Jean had a heart of gold! She was always classy! She had a beautiful home and was always welcoming! She, like Dora had mentioned, earlier, was quite the dancer! She and Al knew how to have fun! There was hardly a song that played, that she wasnโt up dancing! Heaven gained a beautiful friend and soul! Goodbye, my friend! ๐ฅฐ

I did not know her well, but I do have a memory from her house as a tiny kid. I think I was 5, I remember the smells and her pantry. I know that she had those hard Carmel candys in a glass bowl. And her garden had a lot of decorations. She is and was a very sweet woman. I’m glad I got to meet her even if I don’t remember it well. Rest in peace ๐๏ธ
