Judy and Boyd, I was sadden to hear that you had loss your son! Know that you and your family are in my prayers! Losing a child is not easy..the grace of God will see you through this difficult time! Take comfort from those around you and hold on to Richards loving memories!
J Johnson says
Dear Family and Friends of Richard Whiteman-Davis, Sr. – Please be comforted by promises found in the Bible at this difficult time. Continue to dwell on the happy memories and fine qualities that you remember about Mr. Whiteman-Davis. Death and suffering was not part of God’s purpose for mankind. Everything that God created was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Sickness and death came to mankind due to Adam’s sin (Genesis 2:17) which made Adam imperfect, which mankind inherited. Because of Jesus’ ransom sacrifice of his perfect human life, hope of everlasting life was restored and death will be done away with (Revelation 21:4). Faith in these Bible promises gives us hope. Please look forward to the joy of again seeing Mr. Whiteman-Davis in perfect Paradise conditions. Faith in these promises will hopefully ease the pain of loss. Meanwhile we have the opportunity to follow Jesus’ instruction to continue to take in Bible knowledge that leads to everlasting life (John 17:3).

To the Family of Richard Whiteman-Davis;
My sincere condolences to your family. Whiteman, as we called him at MWSS-273 in Beaufort SC, was the HARDEST working Marine in our platoon. Many times, when it was time to work late and people were complaining, there you would find Whiteman and TwoTeeth, just smiling ear to ear. I loved that Marine. He was a good man.
