Robert l. Quinlan (Robbie), age 89, of Forsyth passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019.
He was born on February 15, 1930, the son of Joe R. and Emma Quinlan.
He attended school through the eighth grade and then helped out on the home ranch on Smith Creek.
He worked as a ranch hand and then he went into the military. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany.
Robert and Georgia Coon were married on September 1960. They lived in Forsyth and had three daughters; Cindy, Teresa, and Connie. Robert worked for Rosebud County Road Department until his retirement, when he and Georgia bought a small ranch north of Forsyth.
His survivors include his wife Georgia of Forsyth, his daughters Cindy and her husband Tom Byrne (Ky). Teresa and husband Larry Williams of Forsyth, his grandchildren Guy Ulrich (Shayla), Justin Quinlan, Si Ulrich, Brandi Logsdon (Dillard) and Jennifer Williams (Alton Taber). He also has 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Marie Reichert and one brother, Donald Quinlan.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Connie Rae, his sister Josephine Cory, and his brothers Arden, Howard, Marvin, and Joseph.
