On the evening of Saturday, April 7th, 2018, Sharon Lynne (Anderson) Myers passed away at home, comforted by her son, due to natural causes after a long battle with medical issues.
Sharon was born in Baker Montana on November 12, 1939. She was raised by her aunt and uncle Lloyd and Edna Anderson. She worked at the Fallon County Courthouse for a few years before being married. Sharon married Robert Wayne Myers on June 4, 1960 in Baker, Montana and they welcomed Warren Wayne to their family on April 16, 1961 and Shannon Wayne Myers on August 16, 1976.
Sharon lived on the ranch for the next 58 years; she was unconditionally devoted to her husband and children. After her husbands passing, she continued to manage the place with the help of her son Shannon.
Sharon enjoyed playing solitaire and doing crossword puzzles. She loved her dog Missy and also enjoyed crocheting.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wayne Myers; son Warren Wayne Myers; brothers: Thomas Wayne Green and John “Jack” Green; her parents Cecil and Barbara; and her aunt and uncle Edna and Lloyd Anderson that raised her. She is survived by her son Shannon Wayne Myers; sisters: Barbara (Pam) Miller, Pattie (Lynn) Bateman and Karen (Dan) Coonrad; brother Richard “Dick” (Robbie) Green; sisters-in-law: Ruth Green, Evelyn Green, Wanda Roberts, Ethel Myers and Sylvia Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Knowlton Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.

I have fond memories of the days gone by when my family (Paul & Ruby Keniv) joined the Greens’ yearly brandings. Definitely a fun time by all–the stories told by the guys (and more than likely embellished), the wonderful food prepared by all the women and visiting with the folks from Knowlton/Ismay.
