Terry Nelson age 55, of Miles City, MT. Passed away on Sunday, July 24,2022 at his home in Miles City.
Terry was born on July 20, 1967 in Estelline, South Dakota. He joined the Nelson family, Ernie, Esther and Cheryl in Spearfish, South Dakota as a infant. He lived in Spearfish 2 years before moving to Belle Creek, Montana. Terry attended school in Belle Creek until the 6th grade and finished schooling in Broadus, MT. He had the joy of riding the Big Yellow Bus from Belle Creek to Broadus for 7 years!! Terry moved with the family to Miles City, MT in 1989,. He worked at different jobs until he went to work at Albertsons for the last 14 years. Terry enjoyed working with the other employees, he loved joking and teasing them.
Terry became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and he was baptized and confirmed at Hope Church in Spearfish, South Dakota. He enjoyed watching westerns on TV and all country western music. He also enjoyed going to the Blue Grass Festivals.
Terry was proceeded in death by his grandparents Bill and Alma Gentele, his grandpa Nelson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is Survived by his mother and father Ernie and Esther Nelson, sister and husband Cheryl and Dan Stark, nieces Tesha and Kayla Stark, and great nephews Jayden, Bentley, Trevor, Dustin, Conner and Carson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Terry’s name to the Trinity Lutheran Classical School K-8th.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Custer County Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com.

I worked with Terry at Hardee’s here in Miles City when it was still open. I had to have been 17. 1997. He always laughed and smiled. Come to think of it, he kind of laughed like Barney Rubble from the Flintstones. Not in a bad way, mind you. Enjoy the journey Terry!

I remember Terry from my grade school years at Broadus Elementary. Although he was an upperclassmen, Terry made the little kids feel like big kids and even played a bit with them.
