William Jon Plowman, age 40, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
William was born on February 15, 1973, in Fort Worth, Texas. At the age of two weeks, he became the son of Jon and Kathy (McMillan) Plowman. He attended grade school in Center, North Dakota. His freshman year he moved to Miles City where he graduated from Custer County High School. While in high school, he was very involved in basketball and baseball in which his father had the privilege to coach him. Following high school, he attended Miles Community College and then enlisted in the US Army. William was a registered contractor working in Montana and Wyoming in this profession. His dream was to build affordable housing for his community. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and other outdoor activities. Will was happiest when making his Aunt Teresa’s recipe for Frog Eye Salad and barbecuing with his own special sauce for his friends and family. William married the love of his life, Rosalinda, on August 2, 2012, with his mother, Kathy, and father, Jon, standing up for them as witnesses. The joys of his life were his daughter, Anjeliq, and his son, Quannah. Quannah was his favorite hunting and golfing buddy. Anjeliq was his “princess.” He planned to take his family to Maine so they could share the special experiences he had there as a child. Will’s Grandma and Grandpa McMillan were very influential in his life, as was his “adopted” Grandpa Casey Stengel.
Will is survived by his wife Rosie of Miles City; his two children Anjeliq & Quannah; his father Jon (Jann Whiting) Plowman of Billings; his mother Kathy (Max) Dyba of Miles City; his brothers: Patrick (Caron) Plowman of Las Vegas, NV; Terry (Corliss) Plowman of Las Vegas, NV; Andrew (Kara) Plowman of Wauwatosa, WI; his step-brothers Ramon (Serenity), David (Sarah), step-sister Lisa (Ryan); his nieces: Abigail, Brynn, Charlee and Payton; his nephews: Britton, Kohl, Jackson, Deryck and Jacob; his aunts and uncles include: Dr. William (Theresa) McMillan, Jim (Margery) Michael, Peter (Jean) Plowman and Mark Plowman and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
