Erma, Wilmer Jr, Kermit, Julianne, and the rest of the Spang family, sending my heartfelt condolences as you grieve. I regret I could not attend the service. Just want to share that I’ll always be grateful for the time I got to spend with him on a project some years ago. His knowledge ran deep; he shared a lot with me about how Lame Deer Creek and NC reservation overall has been developed over the years. Wilmer Sr. was an exceptional human being who made everyone better for knowing him. May he rest in peace. Sending prayers to you all.
